This full-time, hybrid role supports financial oversight and compliance for federal, state, and capital-funded programs. Responsibilities include fiscal monitoring, contract and payment review, spending reports, expenditure tracking, and technical assistance to subrecipients and contractors. Statewide travel may be required.
Candidates should have at least four years of related experience in fiscal analysis, budget analysis, program administration, or financial management, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Community Housing Partners (CHP) is hiring a Training Center Director to lead the CHP Energy Solutions Training Center in Christiansburg, Virginia. This full-time, on-site role oversees the strategic management, operations, staffing, budgeting, and growth of the Training Center, which provides training and technical assistance programs that support energy efficiency, weatherization, building science, and healthier, safer homes and buildings. The position also manages funding, contracts, partner relationships, reporting, and program delivery, with regular engagement across local, state, and federal partners. Travel is required up to 35% of the time, including daytime and overnight travel. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, construction, energy efficiency, building science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. CHP is seeking someone with 3–5 years of experience in budgeting, personnel management, and grant management, plus at least five years of managerial experience in construction, business, grants administration, or a related field. The role requires strong communication, team leadership, financial management, partnership development, and an understanding of weatherization programs and industry needs.
