NASCSP staff is available for questions, surveys, and general information. Weatherization Services is also active in training and technical assistance events; public information campaigns, including Weatherization Day; and advocating for our members. Specific services are below:
The Weatherization Assistance Program Technical Assistance Center (WAPTAC) was designed to provide weatherization practitioners and other energy conservation professionals with information related to the Weatherization Assistance Program, its on going operations and partnerships with stakeholders. It is frequently updated with the latest program regulations, updates, and guides for strengthening program operations.
The WAP System for Identifying and Reviewing New Technologies and Techniques is a forum for sharing new and innovative practices in weatherization. The SIRTT distributes these advancements to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our work. State agencies are invited to contribute to the virtual library of innovation and technology — a database filled with program information, technical field guides, forms, templates, protocol advancements, and new ideas.
The WAPTAC Message Board is a tool that provides weatherization practitioners and other energy conservation professionals with information related to the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), its on-going operations, and its partnerships with stakeholders. Members of the site can post questions and browse categories of WAP-related information.
A one-stop-shop for the official NASCSP position on matters regarding the WAP, as well as the latest developments in funding, partnerships, administration, success stories, best practices, and other issues concerning states, districts, and beyond.
