The U.S. Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) reduces heating and cooling costs for low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety.

  System for Identifying and Reviewing New Technologies and Techniques   (SIRTT)

The WAP System for Identifying and Reviewing New Technologies and Techniques was designed as a forum for sharing new and innovative practices in weatherization. The SIRTT will distribute these advancments to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our work.
